The following Royalty Rates shall apply:
(A) Alternative 1:
(i) For Public Performance of Music in Rooms within the Premises, the Royalty Rate shall be Rs.100/- p.a. per Room.
(ii) For Public Performance of Music in Restaurants within the Premises, Tariff RB shall apply.
(iii) For Public Performance of Live / DJ Music in Banquet or other areas within premises, Tariff LP/DJ shall apply.
(iv) To Perform Music by Mechanical means/Devices for Exhibition with in the Premises, Tariff EXB shall apply.
(v) For Public Performance of Music by any means in common areas within the premises, such as in the Lobby, Foyers, Passages, Toilets and the like, the
same is covered under the Royalty Rate for Rooms.
(vi) For Public Performance of Music in Discotheques within the Premises, Tariff DISCO shall apply.
(vii) For Public Performance of Music in Departmental Stores, , Retail Shops, Showrooms, Video Game Parlour Beauty Parlours, Hair Dressing Saloons,
Sauna Baths, Kiosk Stalls and all other Commercial Premises of such nature, Tariff DS shall apply.
(viii) For Public Performance of Music in areas which have been devoted for Offices or Banks, Tariff BO shall apply.
(ix) For Public Performance of Music on Hold in Telephone Systems, Tariff MH shall apply.
(x) For Public Performance of Music in Shopping Plazas/Arcades Malls, Multiplexes Tariff AM shall apply.
(xi) For Public Performance of Music in Health Clubs, Gyms, Aerobic Centres, Tariff HCL shall apply.
(B) Alternative 2:
For Public Performance of Music in Restaurants, Rooms, Lobby, Foyers, Lifts,
Shopping Arcade only in the Lobby, Banquets / Conference, Disco, Saloons, Beauty Parlors, Sauna Baths, Heath Centre Kiosk Stalls,
Music on Hold the Royalty Rate shall be calculated as per the following:-

The number of days shall be 365. This rate covers Public Performance of Music by ANY MEANS and at all the Places in the Premise.
(i) For Live Performance / Events /Performance by third parties / Outside Organizer’s within the Premises, Relevant Tariff LP/DJ shall apply.
(ii) Hotels less than 100 Rooms, should take a Separate licence for Disco as per Tariff DISCO.
(iii) Less than 30 Rooms this option is not allowed.
The Minimum Royalty under this Tariff shall be Rs.2500/- per annum.
